Apparantly researchers in Japan just re-discovered a cute, cuddly creature they named the Goblin Shark. They thought it went extint, but surprise! Here it is! Oh Goody! I think this clip comes from a longer documentary that I saw a long time ago. I don’t remember all of it, but I’m pretty sure this thing lays eggs in your chest cavity, and baby goblin sharks hatch out of your rib cage. I saw it on the Discovery Channel.
Here we see a young gentleman named Speal absolutely destroy a workout that always kicks my butt. The routine, affectionately named “Fran” for some reason, is all thrusters (front squats + push presses) and pullups. People sometimes cry foul on kipping pullups but it’s been my experience that they just work your muscles in different ways (not necessary better or worse) than strict pullups. Any way you slice it, 2:05 is a crazy impressive performance.
