pas de deux…sur le tête

14 09 2008

One of the many things that I learned about China from the 10 gajillion hours that I spent watching the Beijing Olympics is that they have a very unique national motto. It doesn’t translate perfectly to English, but it’s something like, “China: taking stuff that you thought was fairly difficult to begin with, and doing it on top of another human being. Since 1266.”

Here we see the amazing Chinese Ballet Circus and their Pas de Deux troupe from Guangdong living up to the national motto. See also the Russian bar.
